Things are happening…

August 20, 2008

…just not as fast as I/we expected.  The launch of my book and stuff is still a few weeks out.  However, when it is launched it should be good.  I know that I have received almost 100% support for the material.  Here is my bio/background for you to review:

For the past 40 years Bob Kleppin has been involved in many different kinds of industries from the manufacture of military weapons and computer chips, to construction and even cooking. While his title may have changed with each job, his core responsibilities remained fairly consistent. He was always in Management as some sort of a “Project Manager.”

The information presented in this book is based upon his real life experiences, his college education (he has a degree in Project Management with extensive post graduate work) his teaching experience at Arizona State University where he taught Project Management, and from case studies of other Project Managers’ experiences.

Bob is now sharing those years of education and experience in the off-line world with those that are involved in the on-line world. His techniques will bring off-line applications of Project Management to the on-line marketer in a manner that is easily understood and useful.

Tired but still moving forward

August 9, 2008

It is Saturday morning and the end of a really stressful week for me.  Bad news medically, but great news re my new project/book.  Got several very helpful feed backs which have allowed me to rewrite the book, add content and forms.  @CCGAL is now using the process in the book for a couple of her projects and also to get ready to launch this project.  I’m busy writing my new book on How to Put on a Seminar.  Been putting on some form of seminars for 30 some years now mostly in off-line industries but also for 15 years for on-line activities (remember Veronica, Jughead and Archie?).  Time to take all that knowledge and make it available to others.  I think my smallest crowd was around 30 in a town of 6,000 back when only the “upper crust” or real “techies” had computers.  People wanted to know stuff, they still do.  My largest group was 1,500 for an event I directed for a major military manufacturer and the pentagon.

Anyway, I hope you think that this product might be helpful.  Let me know if you have any questions or issues re putting on a seminar and I’ll make sure to include the answers in the book.  I’ll give you credit for asking too.

Stay tuned to this blog and also keep checking http://kleppin.blogspot.com/ for updates on the release of my Project Management for on-line Marketers book.  Until then “Live long and Prosper.”

A day at the Fair, (well, really four days.)

August 5, 2008

The annual county fair was this past weekend.  I had the pleasure of entering three of my custom crafted end grain heirloom cutting boards in the professional woodworking division.  I am pleased to announce that I won 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place ribbons and prize money.  Made me feel really good.  Gonna try and up load pictures, if I can figure out how to do it……….<G>
